What DishDelightful helps you do

Outcomes in plain language — not infrastructure jargon.

  • Keep family recipes in one private place

Upload or paste the dishes you already cook. Your cookbook stays private to your account.

  • Adapt recipes without losing the source

Scale, substitute, or simplify with citations when DishDelightful uses your cookbook.

  • Plan a week around time and preferences

Build a fixed seven-day plan with diet, allergies, and weekday vs weekend time limits.

  • Reuse ingredients and intentional leftovers

Coordinate meals so pantry staples and leftover strategies reduce waste and repeat shopping.

  • Build a consolidated shopping list

Weekly plans return a shopping summary across the week — not seven disconnected lists.

  • Save what works

History, favorites, and saved preferences make the next generation faster.

Your private Personal Cookbook

Upload or paste the recipes you already trust. Search them privately, adapt them with citations, and — on Premium — use them in weekly planning.

My Recipes are AI-generated results you save and favorite. My Cookbook is for recipes you upload or paste yourself.

Your cookbook is private to your account. DishDelightful does not claim encryption certifications or zero data retention beyond what Privacy describes.

  • Upload files or paste recipe text
  • Search your collection when documents are ready
  • Ground adaptations with source citations
  • Premium: cookbook-aware weekly plan modes

Weekly meal planning that stays honest

A fixed seven-day plan shaped by diet, allergies, time limits, and leftover strategy — with shopping coordination across the week.

  • Seven consecutive days from your start date
  • Meal types, servings, weekday and weekend time limits
  • Cookbook modes: generated only, prefer cookbook, or cookbook only (Premium)
  • Leftover strategy and pantry notes when you provide them

Web review edits after generation are temporary drafts and are not saved back through a plan update API. Mobile planners remain local-first; DishDelightful does not market cloud planner synchronization today.

Recipe generation and grounded adaptations

Structured recipes from ingredients and constraints — or adaptations grounded in your private cookbook with citations.

Get reviewable steps, timelines, shopping notes, and allergy warnings — not an unstructured chat dump. When you generate from My Cookbook, sources stay visible.

Shopping coordination and leftovers

Weekly plans consolidate shopping and can respect leftover strategies you choose — without inventing advanced leftover automation that is not shipped yet.

  • Consolidated shopping

One shopping summary for the week instead of seven disconnected lists.

  • Leftover strategy

Optional and planned-reuse strategies are available on weekly plans. Advanced leftover-aware planning is labeled Coming soon on Pricing when not enforced.
